I decided to buy myself a gift for my one-year veganversary -- a soymilk maker! I've been wanting one for years.

Also, I've recently started making tofu at home, and I want to try making some herb- and spice-infused tofus, and a soymilk maker will make the process sooooo much easier.

But do you know how many soymilk makers there are on the market? Surprisingly, a lot.

After a lot of research, I went with SoyQuick's new model. I also found a coupon code for a free tofu kit that comes with 30 packages of coagulator. (I've been using lemon juice or vinegar for that, but I can't wait to try a different kind of coagulant. I heard it results in a smoother product.)

It's not just for soymilk either. It makes nut milks, oat and rice milk. Plus, you can add coffee beans while you're making milk, for a cappuccino-type drink.

Yesterday, Eric and I went grocery shopping, and while we were at Wal-Mart I needed to pick up more hangers because Eric's clothes seem to be multiplying when they come out of the dryer. Before we even made it to the hangers Eric grabbed this and throws it in the shopping cart. When I looked at him because he was acting crazy he proclaims, "I spent $100 at the bar last night being stupid so I can replace that fire hazard that you have had since highshool!"

It toasted our corn dogs for dinner last night very well. And it managed to do it without filling the house with smoke. Yea!

We got the Voodoo knife set for xmas. It's even more awesome in person, and the knives are even decent! I'm already rearranging my kitchen to show it off to its best advantage.

My crush just bought this Breville indoor grill. I couldn't be more jealous. That thing is sweet.

Do not buy the one that we sell at C&B. It's total crap. We've had 3 returned in the last 2 days.

Ours is from Pampered Chef, and I love it. We use it every single time we make pizza.
