Oh man, he really brought it home at the end.
There were some good moments. He did talk about DADT, although he did not actually say those words and the language was pretty weak - he said he'd work with Congress and the military over the next year to repeal, which could mean a lot of things. I think he could have also timed it better, piggybacking it on the back of the veterans stuff. Moving on to nuclear stuff then talking about DADT made it feel a little tacked on.
I liked when he said "That's how budgeting works."
And I also liked when he called out the GOP for stymieing Obama at every step.
