Ikea was about what I expected. Well, a little more maze-like than expected. I managed to keep the impulse buys to a minimum – a new kitchen rug that cost three bucks and a package of five magazine holders that cost another three bucks. Outside of that, I got a better deal than expected on new media storage boxes (SO excited about these, our new coffee table practically begs for them) and paid what expected for new shelving, now that the old stuff was sold to a craigslister.
Right now, I’m drinking a beer and typing while listening to Matt bang around and assemble shelving units in the other room. Before and after photos to come soon.

is exciting, as it’s the first entry I wrote online that got me any attention. Those who have been with me from the beginning will absolutely remember Miss Budina, the Famous Toilet-Peeing Cat. RIP, furry little weirdo.

If you ever come stay with Scott and I next time it will be like a Keys flashback. There are soooo many cats. We pretty much ignore them. They sleep on the porch sometimes. The neighbor catty corner to the left of us feeds them and lets them in her house.
