I had no idea I did so much feminist ranting when I first started writing online, but I’m pretty glad that I did, in retrospect. I had some run-ins with people I knew in real life being very threatened by my very first online journal, and I remember being very baffled by their reactions – why did they care so much that I wanted a place to say what I thought, publicly? Eight years later, some puzzle pieces snap into place.
