In My Spare Time
I have a new hobby.
Lots of people in South Florida drive like they have their heads up their asses. Now, whenever I see someone stupid enough to drive like a douche while simultaneously advertising a business with contact information emblazened upon the vehicle, I call the number.
Usually, the person picking up is either the terrible driver or the terrible driver’s boss. Either way, I inform them that I am observing the driver as he or she operates the company vehicle unsafely and like an entitled asshole, I am in fact in the market for whatever service is being advertisied, and will be sure to take my business elsewhere, because it is my personal policy not to hand over money to entitled assholes.
Satisfying AND effective. I recommend this hobby to others, and hope it sweeps the nation.

You are hilarious! That’s a great hobby.

I started doing that too, after a semi ran a red light and tried to kill me. Now I do it all the time.
But I also call the numbers to give them compliments, too.

I feel like not driving like an asshole is the minimum in social responsibility – to me, that’d be like like stopping someone in the street and complimenting them for not punching me in the face.
I WOULD call and compliment the driver of a vehicle with a business ad if that driver did something really polite, going out of his or her way to be courteous on the road.
Hasn’t happened yet. Like I said – most people down here drive like idiots.
