UK: Day 7

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Last night in London.

We have had such a wonderful time, and I am so sad.

(Matt just stood up suddenly and demanded, “What am I doing wearing pants? That’s stupid,” as he dropped his drawers. His boxers have little British Flags print and say “His Royal Heinie.” I have to say, I’m not so sad anymore [...]

UK: First Few Minutes of Day 7

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Am sleepy and sad, because tomorrow (actually, today) is our last day in London. Too tired to say anything other than new photos start here. Don’t let the candy porn fool you. Today was Tourist Day and we hit the London Eye at sunset, so you better believe there are a whole bunch.

UK: Day 5

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Back from Wales. It was wonderful. Due to a bunch of boring difficulties, we didn’t arrive as early as planned and instead of taking a mini road trip, raced around Cardiff hitting as many cool sights as we could before it got dark. UK: Day 3

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Early morning, drinking coffee in the flat and getting ready to head to Wales. Still no phone, but we have the laptop figured out.

Hello from London! I have 17 minutes left at the net cafe, so if this gets cut short, that’s why.

No photos yet. I’ve taken some amazing ones already, but we don’t have an adapter, which you’d think would be easy to find – we thought it’d be easy to find – but no luck yet.

We [...]

Catching Up

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

A lot of things have happened. My “To Write” list is too long for catching up, so I’m going to let flickr do most of the work for me. Click the photo for full sets on each adventure, when applicable.

My friend Ruth and her family came up from the Keys to visit. I think these [...]

Bubbalicious

Monday, November 19th, 2007

I lost a friend over the weekend.

I wrote about it on my friend Aron’s blog, but since there’s no static link to entries over there, I’m going to copy my portion below, as well.

Bubba was one of the good ones.

He was one of the most dedicated and hardest workers I have ever known, and it [...]
