Me: “Okay, the Beer Pong Tournament starts at noon tomorrow. I say we see Order of the Phoenix in 3-D tonight, then get a good night’s sleep so we can get up early, because we are going to need a BIG breakfast beforehand.”
Matt: “We don’t want to eat a huge breakfast. I’m not really going to eat anything at all.”
Me: “Are you kidding me? It’s a BEER PONG TOURNAMENT. It starts at noon. Unless you want me hammered by 3 p.m, I have got to eat a lot beforehand.”
Matt: “No, we DON’T want to eat.”
Me: “Do you know me at all? Every single night of drinking that has gotten out of control has one common denominator – me not eating enough beforehand.”
Matt: “But, we need to be able to save room. For lots of beer.”
Me: “I want a new partner.”
