Carols unsung, bells unrung. Probably only 6 or 7 of these things are about YOU, yes, you.

1. You are so judgemental, I can’t even imagine where you’re coming from, let alone empathize, let alone what gives you the right to weigh in, without knowing anything? Seriously, what gives you the right? No one else has it.

2. You’re attracted to me, you like me a lot, and everyone knows it. That’s why I’m wary of taking risks with you – not because I’m afraid I’m not smart enough.

3. I’ve distanced myself from you, I know, deliberately. But that does NOT mean you get to embrace it. Your obligations are bigger than that.

4. I miss you so much, I don’t even know how or what to say to you. The computer company doesn’t make the right keys to put in the keyboard which would tell you what it really feels like.

5. You won’t go all in. I don’t know why. But as long as you won’t? Neither will I.

6. I am so, so sorry for what I’ve done.

7. You didn’t get to leave me, but you did it anyway. I want to forgive you for it, but don’t know if I ever can.

8. You are on the verge of big, huge things. Hang on, have some trust, and take some risks. Better yet, trust ME to take some risks. Because I have to, and that means your approval won’t factor into those decisions.

9. You bore me. Pretty much all the time. Sorry. No, I’m not really, because you really are very boring.

10. Stop trying to make me make sense to you. If it hasn’t happened by now, it’s never going to happen.
